I'm Samuel — over the years ive trained powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and bodybuilding. I've tried nearly every popular commercial gym in Pittsburgh. None of them were built for what we actually do — they were built for revenue per square foot.
Essential Gym is the gym I wanted to train at. Every bar, every machine, every detail was chosen because I'll be using it too. My wife trains here. Our kid will grow up here. This place isn't a franchise model — it's the gym we wanted to exist for ourselves first.
